In the Name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
Bismillahir-Rahmanir-Rahim
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
O High, O Mighty, O Forgiver, O Merciful, You are the Mighty Lord, Who has none like Him, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Seeing.
Ya Ali, Ya Azim, Ya Ghafur, Ya Rahim, Anta al-Rabb al-'Azim, alladhi laysa kamithlihi shay', wa Huwa al-Sami' al-Basir.
يَا عَلِيُّ يَا عَظِيمُ، يَا غَفُورُ يَا رَحِيمُ، أَنْتَ الرَّبُّ الْعَظِيمُ، الَّذِي لَيْسَ كَمِثْلِهِ شَيْءٌ، وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْبَصِيرُ.
This is a month which You have made exalted, honored, ennobled and excelled over the other months.
Wa hadha shahrun 'azzamtahu, wa karramtahu, wa sharraftahu, wa faddaltahu 'ala al-shuhur.
وَهَذَا شَهْرٌ عَظَّمْتَهُ، وَكَرَّمْتَهُ، وَشَرَّفْتَهُ، وَفَضَّلْتَهُ عَلَى الشُّهُورِ.
It is the month in which You have made fasting obligatory on me, and "It is the month of Ramadan, in which You sent down the Quran, a guidance for mankind, having clear signs of guidance and distinction." (Surah Al-Baqarah 2:185).
Wa Huwa al-shahr alladhi faradta 'alayya siyāmahu, wa Huwa shahr Ramadān alladhi anzalta fihi al-Qur'an hudan li al-nas wa bayyinatin min al-huda wa al-furqan.
وَهُوَ الشَّهْرُ الَّذِي فَرَضْتَ عَلَيَّ صِيَامَهُ، وَهُوَ (شَهْرُ رَمَضَانَ الَّذِي أُنْزِلَ فِيهِ الْقُرْآنُ هُدًى لِلنَّاسِ وَبَيِّنَاتٍ مِّنَ الْهُدَىٰ وَالْفُرْقَانِ.) سورة البقرة (٢: ١٨٥)
You have placed in it the night of Al-Qadr, and made it better than a thousand months.
Wa ja'alta fihi laylat al-Qadr, wa ja'altaha khayran min alf shahr.
وَجَعَلْتَ فِيهِ لَيْلَةَ الْقَدْرِ، وَجَعَلْتَهَا خَيْراً مِنْ أَلْفِ شَهْرٍ.
O One who favors, and none favors You, favor me by saving me from the fire, amongst the ones You favor, and make me enter Heaven, by Your mercy, O the Most Merciful.
Fa ya dha al-mann, wa la yumannu 'alayh, umnun 'alayya bi fakk raqabati min al-nar fiman tamunn 'alayh, wa adkhilni al-janna bi rahmatika, ya Arham al-rahimin.
فَيَا ذَا الْمَنِّ، وَلَا يُمَنُّ عَلَيْهِ، اُمْنُنْ عَلَيَّ بِفَكَاكِ رَقَبَتِي مِنَ النَّارِ، فِيمَنْ تَمُنُّ عَلَيْهِ، وَأَدْخِلْنِي الْجَنَّةَ بِرَحْمَتِكَ، يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ.
