Bismillahir-Rahmanir-Rahim
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
My God, the petitioners have stood at Your door, the needy have sought refuge at Your side, and the ark of the destitute has halted on the shore of the ocean of Your generosity and magnanimity, hoping to cross over to the expanse of Your mercy and grace.
ilahi waqafa assa'iluun bibabik waladha alfuqara'u bijanabik wawaqafat safinat almasakin ala sahil bahr juudik wakaramic yarjuna aljawaz ila sahat rahmatik wani'matik
إِلهِي وَقَفَ السَّائِلُونَ بِبابِكَ، وَلاذَ الفُقَراءُ بِجَنابِكَ وَوَقَفَتْ سَفِينَةُ المَساكِينِ عَلى ساحِلِ بَحْرِ جُودِكَ وَكَرَمِكَ يَرْجُونَ الجَوازَ إِلى ساحَةِ رَحْمَتِكَ وَنِعْمَتِكَ.
My God, if in this noble month You only have mercy on those who are sincere to You in their fasting and prayer, then what hope is there for the sinning, negligent one who is drowning in a sea of his own misdeeds and sins?
ilahi in kunta la tarham fi hadha ashahr ashsharif illa man akhlasa laka fi siyamihi wa qiyamihi faman lilmudhnib almuqassir idha ghariqa fi bahr dhunubih wa athamih
إِلهِي إِنْ كُنْتَ لاتَرْحَمُ فِي هذا الشَّهْرِ الشَّرِيفِ إِلاّ مَنْ أَخْلَصَ لَكَ فِي صِيامِهِ وَقِيامِهِ فَمَنْ لِلْمُذْنِبِ المُقَصِّرِ إِذا غَرِقَ فِي بَحْرِ ذُنُوبِهِ وَآثامِهِ؟
My God, if You only have mercy on the obedient, then what is for the disobedient? And if You only accept from the diligent, then what is for the negligent?
ilahi in kunta la tarham illa almute'in faman lil'asin wa in kunta la taqbal illa min al'amilin faman lilmuqassirin
إِلهِي إِنْ كُنْتَ لاتَرْحَمُ إِلاّ المُطِيعِينَ فَمَنْ لِلْعاصِينَ؟ وَإِنْ كُنْتَ لاتَقْبَلُ إِلاّ مِنَ العامِلِينَ فَمَنْ لِلْمُقَصِّرِينَ؟
My God, the fasters have prospered, the worshippers have triumphed, and the sincere have been saved; but we are Your sinful servants.
ilahi rabiha assa'imuun wa faza alqa'imuun wa naja almukhlasuun wa nahnu 'abiiduk almudhnibuun
إِلهِي رَبِحَ الصَّائِمُونَ، وَفازَ القَائِمُونَ، وَنَجا المُخْلِصُونَ، وَنَحْنُ عَبِيدُكَ المُذْنِبُونَ.
So, have mercy on us by Your grace, free us from the Fire by Your pardon, and forgive us our sins by Your mercy, O Most Merciful of the merciful!
farhamna birahmatik wa a'tiqna min annar bi'afwik waghfir lana dhunuubana birahmatik ya arham arrahimin
فَارْحَمْنا بِرَحْمَتِكَ، وَاعْتِقْنا مِنَ النَّارِ بِعَفْوِكَ، وَاغْفِرْ لَنا ذُنُوبَنا بِرَحْمَتِكَ. يا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ.
