In the Name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
Bismillahir-Rahmanir-Rahim
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
In the name of Allah, from Whom I hope for nothing but bounty, and from Whom I fear nothing but justice! I rely only upon His word, and I cling only to His cord!
Bismillahil-ladhi la arju illa fadlah, wa la akhsha illa adlah, wa la atamiddu illa qawlah, wa la atamassaku illa bi-hablih.
بِسْمِ اللهِ الَّذِي لاَ أَرْجُو إِلاَّ فَضْلَهُ، وَلاَ أَخْشَى إلاَّ عَدْلَهُ، وَلا أَعْتَمِدُ إلاَّ قَوْلَهُ، وَلا أَتَمَسَّكُ [اُمْسِكُ] إلاَّ بِحَبْلِهِ.
In You I seek sanctuary, O Possessor of pardon and good pleasure, from wrong and enmity, from the changes of time, from the recurrence of sorrows, and from the expiration of my term before preparation and readiness.
Bika astajiru ya Dhal-afwi war-ridwan, minaz-zulmi wal-udwan, wa min ghayariz-zaman, wa tawaturil-ahzan, wa min inqida-il-muddati qablat-ta-ahhubi wal-uddah.
بِكَ أَسْتَجِيرُ يا ذَا الْعَفْوِ وَالرِّضْوانِ مِنَ الظُّلْمِ وَالْعُدْوانِ، وَمِنْ غِيَرِ الزَّمانِ، وَتَواتُرِ الاَحْزانِ، [وَمِنْ طَوارِقِ الْحَدَثَانِ ]، وَمِنِ انْقِضآءِ الْمُدَّةِ قَبْلَ التَّأَهُّبِ وَالْعُدَّةِ.
From You I seek guidance to that which embodies reform and righteousness.
Wa iyyaka astarshidu lima fihis-salah wal-islah.
وَإيَّاكَ أَسْتَرْشِدُ لِما فِيهِ الصَّلاحُ وَالاِصْلاحُ،
From You I seek help in that which is linked to success and favorable response.
Wa bika asta inu lima yaqtarinu bihin-najah wal-injah.
وَبِكَ أَسْتَعِينُ فِيما يَقْتَرِنُ بِهِ النَّجاحُ وَالاِنْجاحُ.
You I beseech for the garment of well-being and its completion and for the covering of health and its permanence. I seek refuge in You, my Lord, from the goading of the satans, and I seek protection in Your sovereignty from the injustice of the sovereigns. So accept my past prayers and fasting and make my tomorrow and what is after better than my present hour and my present day! Exalt me in my clan and my people and protect me in my waking and my sleeping! For You are God, the Best Guardian, and You are the Most Merciful of the merciful.
Wa iyyaka arghabu fi libasil-afiyati wa tamamiha, wa shumulis-salamati wa dawamiha, wa a udhu bika ya Rabbi min hamazatish-shayatin, wa ahtarizu bi-sultanika min jawris-salatin, fa-taqabbal ma kana min salati wa sawmi, waj-al ghad-i wa ma ba dah af-dala min sa ati wa yawmi, wa a iz-zani fi ashirati wa qawmi, wahfaz-ni fi yaqzat-i wa nawmi, fa-anta Allah khayrun hafizan, wa anta Arhamur-rahimin.
وَإيَّاكَ أَرْغَبُ فِي لِباسِ الْعافِيَةِ وَتَمامِها، وَشُمُولِ السَّلامَةِ وَدَوامِها، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ يارَبِّ مِنْ هَمَزاتِ الشَّياطِينِ، وَأَحْتَرِزُ بِسُلْطانِكَ مِنْ جَوْرِ السَّلاطِينِ، فَتَقَبَّلْ ما كانَ مِنْ صَلاتِي وَصَوْمِي، واجْعَلْ غدي وَمَا بَعْدَهُ أفَضَلَ من سَاعَتي وَيَوْمِي، وَأَعِزَّنِي فِي عَشِيرَتِي وَقَوْمِي، وَاحْفَظْنِي فِي يَقْظَتِي وَنَوْمِي، فَأَنْتَ اللَّهُ خَيْرٌ حافِظاً، وَأَنْتَ أَرْحَمُ الرَّاحِمِينَ.
O Allah, I deny before You, on this day of mine and on all Sundays that will follow, associating others with You and of atheism, and I devote my supplication sincerely to You, addressing myself to Your response. So bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad, the best of Your creation, the summoner to Your truth, exalt me with Your exaltation, which never suffers from loss, protect me with Your eye, which never sleeps, and seal my affairs by cutting me off from everything but You and my life with forgiveness! Surely Thou art the Most Forgiving, the Most Compassionate!
Allahumma inni abra-u ilayka fi yawmi hadha wa ma ba dah min al-ahad minash-shirki wal-ilhad, wa ukh-lisu laka du a-i ta arru-dan lil-ijabah, fa-salli ala Muhammadin wa Ali Muhammad khayri khalqik, ad-da i ila haqqik, wa a iz-zani bi-izzikal-ladhi la yudam, wahfaz-ni bi-aynikal-lati la tanam, wakh-tim bil-inqita i ilayka amri, wa bil-maghfirati umri, innaka antal-Ghafurur-Rahim.
أَللَّهُمَّ إنِّي أَبْرَأُ إلَيْكَ فِي يَوْمِي هذا وَ[في ] ما بَعْدَهُ مِنَ الاحادِ مِنَ الشِّرْكَ وَالالْحَادِ، وَأُخْلِصُ لَكَ دُعآئِي تَعَرُّضَاً لِلاِجابَةِ [واُقيم على طاعتِكَ رجاءً للأِثابَةِ ]. فَصَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّد وَآلِ مُحَمَّد خَيْرِ خَلْقِكَ، الدَّاعِي إلَى حَقِّكَ، وَأَعِزَّنِي بِعِزِّكَ الَّذِي لا يُضامُ، وَاحْفَظْنِي بِعَيْنِك الَّتِي لاتَنامُ، وَاخْتِمْ بِالانْقِطَاعِ إلَيْكَ أَمْرِي، وَبِالْمَغْفِرَةِ عُمْرِي، إنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْغَفُورُ الرَّحِيمُ.
