In the Name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
Bismillahir-Rahmanir-Rahim
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
Praise belongs to God – and praise is His right, as He truly deserves it – abundant praise!
Alhamdu lillahi wal-hamdu haqqahu kama yastahiqquhu hamdan kathiran.
أَلْحَمْدُ للّهِ وَالْحَمْدُ حَقُّهُ كَما يَسْتَحِقُّهُ حَمْداً كَثِيراً۔
I seek refuge in Him from the evil of my own soul, for the soul certainly commands to evil except when my Lord shows mercy.
Wa a udhu bihi min sharri nafsi, inna nafsa la-mmaratun bis-su-i illa ma rahima Rabbi.
وَأَعُوذُ بِهِ مِنْ شَرِّ نَفْسِي، إنَّ النَّفْسَ لاَمَّارَةٌ بِالسُّوءِ إلاَّ ما رَحِمَ رَبِّي،
I seek refuge in Him from the evil of Satan, who adds sin upon my sin.
Wa a udhu bihi min sharri sh-shaytanil-ladhi yaziduni dhanban ila dhanbi.
وَأَعُوذُ بِهِ مِنْ شَرِّ الشَّيْطَانِ الَّذِي يَزِيدُنِي ذَنْباً إلَى ذَنْبِي،
I seek protection with Him from every wicked tyrant, unjust ruler, and conquering enemy.
Wa ahtarizu bihi min kulli jabbarin fajir, wa sultanin ja-ir, wa aduwwin qahir.
وَأَحْتَرِزُ بِهِ مِنْ كُلِّ جَبَّار فاجِر، وَسُلْطان جآئر، وَعَدُوٍّ قاهِر۔
O God, place me among Your troops, for Your troops are the victors; place me in Your party, for Your party is the one that will prosper; and place me among Your close friends, for Your friends – no fear shall come upon them, nor shall they grieve.
Allahummaj-alni min jundika fa-inna jundaka humul-ghalibun, waj-alni min hizbika fa-inna hizbaka humul-muflihun, waj-alni min awliya-ika fa-inna awliya-aka la khawfun alayhim wa la hum yahzanun.
أَللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْنِي مِنْ جُنْدِكَ فَإنَّ جُنْدَكَ هُمُ الْغالِبُونَ، وَاجْعَلْنِي مِنْ حِزْبِكَ; فَإنَّ حِزْبَكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُونَ، وَاجْعَلْنِي مِنْ أَوْلِيآئِكَ; فَإنَّ أَوْلِيَاءَكَ لا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلا هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ۔
O God, set right for me my religion, for it is the safeguard of my affairs; set right for me my Hereafter, for it is my final home and my escape from the neighborhood of the vile! Make my life an increase for me in every good, and make my death a relief for me from every evil!
Allahumma aslih li dini fa-innahu ismatu amri, wa aslih li akhirati fa-innaha daru maqarri, wa ilayha min mujawarati li-ami mafarri, waj-alil-hayata ziyadatan li fi kulli khayr, wal-wafata rahatan li min kulli sharr.
أَللَّهُمَّ أَصْلِحْ لِي دِيْنِي فَإنَّهُ عِصْمَةُ أَمْرِي، وَأَصْلِحْ لِي آخِرَتِي فَإنَّهَا دارُ مَقَرِّي، وَإلَيْها مِنْ مُجاوَرَةِ اللِّئامِ مَفَرِّي، وَاجْعَلِ الْحَياةَ زِيادَةً لِي فِي كُلِّ خَيْر، وَالْوَفاةَ رَاحَةً لِي مِنْ كُلِّ شَرٍّ۔
O God, bless Muhammad, the Seal of the Prophets and the fulfillment of the number of messengers, and upon his Household, the good and the pure, and his Companions, the distinguished. And grant me on this Tuesday three things:
Allahumma salli ala Muhammadin khatamin-nabiyyina wa tamami iddatil-mursalina, wa ala alihit-tayyibinat-tahirin, wa as-habihil-muntajabina, wa hab li fit-thulatha-i thalathan:
أَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّد خاتَمِ النَّبِيِّينَ وَتَمَامِ عِدَّةِ الْمُرْسَلِينَ وَعَلَى آلِهِ الطَّيِّبِينَ الطَّاهِرِينَ، وَأَصْحَابِهِ الْمُنْتَجَبِينَ وَهَبْ لِي فِي الثُلُثآءِ ثَلاثاً:
Leave no sin for me unless You forgive it, no grief unless You remove it, and no enemy unless You repel them!
La tada li dhanban illa ghafartah, wa la ghamman illa adh-habtah, wa la aduwwan illa dafa tah.
لا تَدَعْ لِي ذَنْباً إلاَّ غَفَرْتَهُ، وَلا غَمّاً إلاَّ أَذْهَبْتَهُ، وَلا عَدُوّاً إلاَّ دَفَعْتَهُ.
By the power of 'In the name of God', the best of Names; in the name of God, the Lord of the earth and the heavens,
Bi-bismillahi khayril-asma-i, bismillahi Rabbil-ardi was-sama-i,
بِبِسْمِ اللهِ خَيْرِ الاَسْمآءِ، بِسْمِ اللهِ رَبِّ الاَرْضِ وَالسَّمآءِ،
I seek to repel everything hateful, the first of which is His displeasure, and I seek to attract everything beloved, the first of which is His good pleasure!
Astadfiu kulla makruhin awwaluhu sakhatuh, wa astajlibu kulla mahbubin awwaluhu ridah.
أَسْتَدْفِعُ كُلَّ مَكْرُوه أَوَّلُهُ سَخَطُهُ، وَأَسْتَجْلِبُ كُلَّ مَحْبُوب أَوَّلُهُ رِضاهُ.
So seal my fate with forgiveness from You, O Patron of all beneficence!
Fakhtim li minka bil-ghufrani ya Waliyyal-ihsan.
فَاخْتِمْ لِي مِنْكَ بِالْغُفْرانِ يا وَلِيَّ الاِحْسانِ۔
