Bismillahir-Rahmanir-Rahim
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
O Allah, bless Muhammad and his Household, and cause my faith to reach the most perfect faith, make my certainty the most excellent certainty, and take my intention to the best of intentions, and my works to the best of works!
Allaahumma salli 'alaa Muhammadin wa Aalih, wa balligh bi-eemaanee akmala al-eemaan, waj'al yaqeenee afdala al-yaqeen, wantahi biniyyatee ilaa ahsani an-niyyaat, wa bi'amalee ilaa ahsani al-a'maal
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وآلِهِ، وبَلِّغْ بِإِيمَانِي أَكْمَلَ الْإِيمَانِ، واجْعَلْ يَقِينِي أَفْضَلَ الْيَقِينِ، وانْتَهِ بِنِيَّتِي إِلَى أَحْسَنِ النِّيَّاتِ، وبِعَمَلِي إِلَى أَحْسَنِ الْأَعْمَالِ.
O Allah, complete my intention through Your gentleness, rectify my certainty through what is with You, and set right what is corrupt in me through Your power!
Allaahumma waffir bi-lutfika niyyatee, wa sahhiḥ bimaa 'indaka yaqeenee, wastasliḥ bi-qudratika maa fasada minnee
اللَّهُمَّ وَفِّرْ بِلُطْفِكَ نِيَّتِي، وصَحِّحْ بِمَا عِنْدَكَ يَقِينِي، واسْتَصْلِحْ بِقُدْرَتِكَ مَا فَسَدَ مِنِّي.
O Allah, bless Muhammad and his Household, spare me the concerns which distract me, employ me in that about which You will ask me tomorrow, and let me pass my days in that for which You have created me! Free me from need, expand Your provision toward me, and tempt me not with ingratitude! Exalt me and afflict me not with pride! Make me worship You and corrupt not my worship with self-admiration! Let good flow out from my hands upon the people and efface it not by my making them feel obliged! Give me the highest moral traits and preserve me from vainglory!
Allaahumma salli 'alaa Muhammadin wa Aalih, wakfinee maa yashghalunee al-ihtimaamu bih, wasta'milnee bimaa tas'alunee ghadan 'anhu, wastafrigh ayyaamee feemaa khalaqtanee lah, wa aghninee wa awsi' 'alayya fee rizqika, wa laa taftinee bi-al-batar, wa a'izzanee, wa laa tabtaliyannee bi-al-kibr, wa 'abbidnee laka wa laa tufsid 'ibaadatee bi-al-'ujb, wa ajri li-nnaasi 'alaa yadayya al-khayra wa laa tamhaqhu bi-al-mann, wa hab lee ma'aaliya al-akhlaaq, wa'simnee min al-fakhr
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وآلِهِ، واكْفِنِي مَا يَشْغَلُنِي الِاهْتِمَامُ بِهِ، وَاسْتَعْمِلْنِي بِمَا تَسْأَلُنِي غَداً عَنْهُ، وَاسْتَفْرِغْ أَيَّامِي فِيمَا خَلَقْتَنِي لَهُ، وَأَغْنِنِي وَأَوْسِعْ عَلَيَّ فِي رِزْقِكَ، وَلا تَفْتِنِّي بِالنَّظَرِ، وَأَعِزَّنِي وَلا تَبْتَلِيَنِّي بِالْكِبْرِ، وَعَبِّدْنِي لَكَ وَلا تُفْسِدْ عِبَادَتِي بِالْعُجْبِ، وَأَجْرِ لِلنَّاسِ عَلَى يَدَيَّ الْخَيْرَ وَلا تَمْحَقْهُ بِالْمَنِّ، وَهَبْ لِي مَعَالِيَ الْأَخْلَاقِ، وَاعْصِمْنِي مِنَ الْفَخْرِ.
O Allah, bless Muhammad and his Household, and raise me not a single degree before the people without lowering me its like in myself and bring about no outward exaltation for me without an inward abasement in myself to the same measure!
Allaahumma salli 'alaa Muhammadin wa Aalih, wa laa tarfa'nee fi an-naasi darajatan illaa ḥaṭaṭtanee 'inda nafsee mithlaha, wa laa tuḥdith lee 'izzan ḥaahiran illa aḥdathta lee dhillatan baatinatan 'inda nafsee bi-qadarihaa
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وآلِهِ، وَلا تَرْفَعْنِي فِي النَّاسِ دَرَجَةً إِلَّا حَطَطْتَنِي عِنْدَ نَفْسِي مِثْلَهَا، وَلا تُحْدِثْ لِي عِزّاً ظَاهِراً إِلَّا أَحْدَثْتَ لِي ذِلَّةً بَاطِنَةً عِنْدَ نَفْسِي بِقَدَرِهَا.
O Allah, bless Muhammad and Muhammad's Household, and give me to enjoy a sound guidance which I seek not to replace, a path of truth from which I swerve not, and an intention of right conduct in which I have no doubts! Let me live as long as my life is a free gift in obeying You, but if my life should become a pasture for Satan, seize me to Yourself before Your hatred overtakes me or Your wrath against me becomes firm!
Allaahumma salli 'alaa Muhammadin wa Aali Muhammad, wa matti'nee bi-hudan saalihan laa astabdilu bih, wa tareeqati ḥaqqin laa azeeghu 'anhaa, wa niyyati rushdin laa ashukku feehaa, wa 'ammirnee maa kaana 'umree bidhlatan fee ṭaa'atik, fa-itha kaana 'umree martaa'an li-shayṭaan, faqbiḍnee ilayka qabla an yasbiqa maqtuka ilayy, aw yastaḥkim ghaḍabuka 'alayy
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ، وَمَتِّعْنِي بِهُدىً صَالِحٍ لا أَسْتَبْدِلُ بِهِ، وَطَرِيقَةِ حَقٍّ لا أَزِيغُ عَنْهَا، وَنِيَّةِ رُشْدٍ لا أَشُكُّ فِيهَا، وَعَمِّرْنِي مَا كَانَ عُمُرِي بِذْلَةً فِي طَاعَتِكَ، فَإِذَا كَانَ عُمُرِي مَرْتَعاً لِلشَّيْطَانِ فَاقْبِضْنِي إِلَيْكَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَسْبِقَ مَقْتُكَ إِلَيَّ، أَو يَسْتَحْكِمَ غَضَبُكَ عَلَيَّ.
O Allah, deposit in me no quality for which I will be faulted, unless You set it right, no flaw for which I will be blamed, unless You make it beautiful, no deficient noble trait, unless You completest it!
Allaahumma laa tada' khaṣlatan tu'aabu minnee illaa aṣlaḥtahaa, wa laa 'aa-ibatan u'annabu bihaa illaa ḥassantahaa, wa laa ukroomatan feenaa qiqatin illaa atmamtahaa
اللَّهُمَّ لا تَدَعْ خَصْلَةً تُعَابُ مِنِّي إِلَّا أَصْلَحْتَهَا، وَلا عَائِبَةً أُؤنَّبُ بِهَا إِلَّا حَسَّنْتَهَا، وَلا أُكْرُومَةً فِيَّ نَاقِصَةً إِلَّا أَتْمَمْتَهَا.
O Allah, bless Muhammad and Muhammad's Household and replace for me the animosity of the people of hatred with love, the envy of the people of insolence with affection, the suspicion of the people of righteousness with trust, the enmity of those close with friendship, the disrespect of womb relatives with devotion, the abandonment of relatives with help, the attachment of flatterers with love set right, the rejection of fellows with generous friendliness, and the bitterness of the fear of wrongdoers with the sweetness of security!
Allaahumma salli 'alaa Muhammadin wa Aali Muhammad, wa abdilnee min bighḍati ahl ash-shanaan al-maḥabbah, wa min ḥasadi ahl al-baghye al-mawaddah, wa min ẓinnati ahl aṣ-ṣalaaḥ ath-thiqah, wa min 'adaawati al-adnayna al-walaayah, wa min 'uqooqi dhawee al-arḥaam al-mabarraḥ, wa min khiḍlaani al-aqrabeena an-nuṣrah, wa min ḥubbi al-mudaareena taṣḥeeḥ al-meeqah, wa min raddi al-mulaabiseena karam al-'ishrah, wa min maraarati khawfi aẓ-ẓaalimeena ḥalaawat al-amanah
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ، وَأَبْدِلْنِي مِنْ بِغْضَةِ أَهْلِ الشَّنَآنِ الْمَحَبَّةَ، وَمِنْ حَسَدِ أَهْلِ الْبَغْيِ الْمَوَدَّةَ، وَمِنْ ظِنَّةِ أَهْلِ الصَّلَاحِ الثِّقَةَ، وَمِنْ عَدَاوَةِ الْأَدْنَيْنَ الْوَلَايَةَ، وَمِنْ عُقُوقِ ذَوِي الْأَرْحَامِ الْمَبَرَّةَ، وَمِنْ خِذْلَانِ الْأَقْرَبِينَ النُّصْرَةَ، وَمِنْ حُبِّ الْمُدَارِينَ تَصْحِيحَ الْمِقَةِ، وَمِنْ رَدِّ الْمُلاَبِسِينَ كَرَمَ الْعِشْرَةِ، وَمِنْ مَرَارَةِ خَوْفِ الظَّالِمِينَ حَلَاوَةَ الْأَمَنَةِ.
O Allah, bless Muhammad and his Household, and appoint for me a hand against him who wrongs me, a tongue against him who disputes with me, and a victory over him who stubbornly resists me! Give me guile against him who schemes against me, power over him who oppresses me, refutation of him who reviles me, and safety from him who threatens me! Grant me success to obey him who points me straight and follow him who guides me right!
Allaahumma salli 'alaa Muhammadin wa Aalih, waj'al lee yadan 'alaa man ẓalamanee, wa lisaanan 'alaa man khaaṣamanee, wa ẓafaram biman 'aanadanee, wa hab lee makran 'alaa man kaayadanee, wa qudratan 'alaa mani aḍṭahadanee, wa takdheeban liman qaṣabanee, wa salaamatan mimman tawa'adanee, wa waffiqnee li-ṭaa'ati man saddadanee, wa mutaaba'ati man arshadanee
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وآلِهِ، وَاجْعَلْ لِي يَداً عَلَى مَنْ ظَلَمَنِي، وَلِسَاناً عَلَى مَنْ خَاصَمَنِي، وَظَفَراً بِمَنْ عَانَدَنِي، وَهَبْ لِي مَكْراً عَلَى مَنْ كَايَدَنِي، وَقُدْرَةً عَلَى مَنِ اضْطَهَدَنِي، وَتَكْذِيباً لِمَنْ قَصَبَنِي، وَسَلَامَةً مِمَّنْ تَوَعَّدَنِي، وَوَفِّقْنِي لِطَاعَةِ مَنْ سَدَّدَنِي، وَمُتَابَعَةِ مَنْ أَرْشَدَنِي.
O Allah, bless Muhammad and his Household, and point me straight to resist him who is dishonest toward me with good counsel, repay him who separates from me with gentle devotion, reward him who deprives me with free giving, recompense him who cuts me off with joining, oppose him who slanders me with excellent mention, give thanks for good, and shut my eyes to evil!
Allaahumma salli 'alaa Muhammadin wa Aalih, wa saddidnee li-an u'aariḍa man ghashshanee bi-an-nuṣḥ, wa ajziya man hajaranee bi-al-birr, wa uthiiba man ḥaramanee bi-al-badhl, wa ukaafiya man qaṭa'anee bi-aṣ-ṣilah, wa ukhaalifa mani aghṭaabanee ilaa ḥusni adh-dhikr, wa an ashkura al-ḥasanata wa ughḍiya 'ani as-sayyi'ah
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وآلِهِ، وسَدِّدْنِي لِأَنْ أُعَارِضَ مَنْ غَشَّنِي بِالنُّصْحِ، وأَجْزِيَ مَنْ هَجَرَنِي بِالْبِرِّ، وأُثِيبَ مَنْ حَرَمَنِي بِالْبَذْلِ، وأُكَافِيَ مَنْ قَطَعَنِي بِالصِّلَةِ، وأُخَالِفَ مَنِ اغْتَابَنِي إِلَى حُسْنِ الذِّكْرِ، وأَنْ أَشْكُرَ الْحَسَنَةَ، وأُغْضِيَ عَنِ السَّيِّئَةِ.
O Allah, bless Muhammad and his Household, and adorn me with the adornment of the righteous, and clothe me in the ornaments of the godfearing, through spreading justice, restraining rage, quenching the flame of hate, bringing together the people of separation, correcting discord, spreading about good behaviour, covering faults, mildness of temper, lowering the wing, beauty of conduct, gravity of bearing, agreeableness in comportment, precedence in reaching excellence, preferring bounteousness, refraining from condemnation, bestowing bounty on the undeserving, speaking the truth, though it be painful, making little of the good in my words and deeds, though it be much, and making much of the evil in my words and deeds, though it be little! Perfect this for me through lasting obedience, holding fast to the community, and rejecting the people of innovation and those who act in accordance with original opinions!
Allaahumma salli 'alaa Muhammadin wa Aalih, wa ḥallinee bi-ḥilyati aṣ-ṣaaliḥeen, wa albisnee zeenata al-muttaqeen, fee basṭi al-'adl, wa kaẓmi al-ghayẓ, wa iṭfaa'i an-naa'irah, wa ḍammi ahli al-furqah, wa iṣlaaḥi dhaati al-bayn, wa ifshaa'i al-'aarifah, wa satri al-'aa'ibah, wa leeni al-'areekah, wa khafḍi al-janaaḥ, wa ḥusni as-seerah, wa sukooni ar-reeḥ, wa ṭeebi al-mukhaalaqah, wa as-sabqi ila al-faḍeelah, wa eethaari at-tafaḍḍul, wa tarki at-ta'yeer, wa al-ifḍaali 'alaa ghayri al-mustaḥiqq, wa al-qawli bi-al-ḥaqqi wa in 'azz, wa istiqlaali al-khayri wa in kathura min qawlee wa fi'lee, wa istikthaari ash-sharri wa in qalla min qawlee wa fi'lee, wa akmil dhaalika lee bi-dawaami aṭ-ṭaa'ah, wa luzoomi al-jamaa'ah, wa rafḍi ahli al-bida', wa musta'mili ar-ra'y al-mukhtara'
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وآلِهِ، وحَلِّنِي بِحِلْيَةِ الصَّالِحِينَ، وأَلْبِسْنِي زِينَةَ الْمُتَّقِينَ، فِي بَسْطِ الْعَدْلِ، وكَظْمِ الغَيْظِ، وإِطْفَاءِ النَّائِرَةِ، وضَمِّ أَهْلِ الْفُرْقَةِ، وإِصْلَاحِ ذَاتِ الْبَيْنِ، وإِفْشَاءِ الْعَارِفَةِ، وسَتْرِ الْعَائِبَةِ، ولِينِ الْعَرِيكَةِ، وخَفْضِ الْجَنَاحِ، وحُسْنِ السِّيرَةِ، وسُكُونِ الرِّيحِ، وطِيبِ الْمُخَالَقَةِ، والسَّبْقِ إِلَى الْفَضِيلَةِ، وإِيثَارِ التَّفَضُّلِ، وتَرْكِ التَّعْيِيرِ، والْإِفْضَالِ عَلَى غَيْرِ الْمُسْتَحِقِّ، والْقَوْلِ بِالْحَقِّ وإِنْ عَزَّ، واسْتِقْلَالِ الْخَيْرِ وإِنْ كَثُرَ مِنْ قَوْلِي وفِعْلِي، واسْتِكْثَارِ الشَّرِّ وإِنْ قَلَّ مِنْ قَوْلِي وفِعْلِي، وأَكْمِلْ ذَلِكَ لِي بِدَوَامِ الطَّاعَةِ، ولُزُومِ الْجَمَاعَةِ، ورَفْضِ أَهْلِ الْبِدَعِ، ومُسْتَعْمِلِ الرَّأْيِ الْمُخْتَرَعِ.
O Allah, bless Muhammad and his Household, and appoint for me Your widest provision in my old age and Your strongest strength when I am exhausted, and try me not with laziness in worship of You, blindness toward Your path, undertaking what opposes love for You, joining with him who has separated himself from You, and separating from him who has joined himself to You!
Allaahumma salli 'alaa Muhammadin wa Aalih, waj'al awsa'a rizqika 'alayya idha kabirt, wa aqwā quwwatika fee idha naṣibt, wa lā tabtalīyanee bi-al-kasal 'an 'ibādatik, wa lā al-'amā 'an sabeelik, wa lā bi-at-ta'arruḍi li-khilāfi maḥabbatik, wa lā mujāma'ati man tafarraqa 'ank, wa lā mufāraqati mani ijta'ma'a ilayk
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وآلِهِ، واجْعَلْ أَوْسَعَ رِزْقِكَ عَلَيَّ إِذَا كَبِرْتُ، وأَقْوَى قُوَّتِكَ فِيَّ إِذَا نَصِبْتُ، ولَا تَبْتَلِيَنِّي بِالْكَسَلِ عَنْ عِبَادَتِكَ، ولَا الْعَمَى عَنْ سَبِيلِكَ، ولَا بِالتَّعَرُّضِ لِخِلَافِ مَحَبَّتِكَ، ولَا مُجَامَعَةِ مَنْ تَفَرَّقَ عَنْكَ، ولَا مُفَارَقَةِ مَنِ اجْتَمَعَ إِلَيْكَ.
O Allah, make me leap to You in times of distress, ask from You in needs, and plead to You in misery! Tempt me not to seek help from other than You when I am distressed, to humble myself in asking from someone else when I am poor, or to plead with someone less than You when I fear, for then I would deserve Your abandonment, Your withholding, and Your turning away, O Most Merciful of the merciful!
Allaahumma ij'alnee aṣoolu bika 'inda aḍ-ḍaroorah, wa as'aluka 'inda al-ḥājah, wa ataḍarra'u ilayka 'inda al-maskanah, wa lā taftinnee bi-al-isti'ānati bi-ghayrika idhi aḍṭurirt, wa lā bi-al-khuḍoo'i li-su'āli ghayrika idhi iftaqart, wa lā bi-at-taḍarru'i ilā man doonaka idhā rahibt, fa-astaḥiqqa bi-dhālika khidhlānak wa man'ak wa i'rāḍak, yā Arḥama ar-rāḥimeen
اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْنِي أَصُولُ بِكَ عِنْدَ الضَّرُورَةِ، وأَسْأَلُكَ عِنْدَ الْحَاجَةِ، وأَتَضَرَّعُ إِلَيْكَ عِنْدَ الْمَسْكَنَةِ، ولَا تَفْتِنِّي بِالِاسْتِعَانَةِ بِغَيْرِكَ إِذَا اضْطُرِرْتُ، ولَا بِالْخُضُوعِ لِسُؤَالِ غَيْرِكَ إِذَا افْتَقَرْتُ، ولَا بِالتَّضَرُّعِ إِلَى مَنْ دُونَكَ إِذَا رَهِبْتُ، فَأَسْتَحِقَّ بِذَلِكَ خِذْلَانَكَ ومَنْعَكَ وإِعْرَاضَكَ، يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ.
O Allah, make the wishing, the doubt, and the envy which Satan throws into my heart a remembrance of Your mightiness, a reflection upon Your power, and a devising against Your enemy! Make everything he causes to pass over my tongue - the indecent or ugly words, the maligning of good repute, the false witness, the speaking ill of an absent man of faith or the reviling of one present, and all things similar - a speech in praise of You, a pursual of eulogizing You, an excursion in magnifying You, a thanksgiving for Your favour, an acknowledgment of Your beneficence, and an enumeration of Your kindnesses!
Allaahumma ij'al mā yulqee ash-shayṭānu fee raw'ee min at-tamannī wa at-taẓannī wa al-ḥasad dhikran li-'aẓamatik, wa tafakkuran fee qudratik, wa tadbeeran 'alā 'aduwwik, wa mā ajrā 'alā lisānee min lafẓati fuḥshin aw hujrin, aw shatmi 'irḍin, aw shahādati bāṭilin, aw ightiyābi mu'minin ghā'ibin, aw sabbi ḥāḍirin, wa mā ashbaha dhālik, nuṭqan bi-al-ḥamdi lak, wa ighrāqan fee ath-thanā'i 'alayk, wa dhabāban fee tamjeedik, wa shukran li-ni'matik, wa i'tirāfan bi-iḥsānik, wa iḥṣā'an li-minanik
اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ مَا يُلْقِي الشَّيْطَانُ فِي رُوعِي مِنَ التَّمَنِّي والتَّظَنِّي والْحَسَدِ ذِكْراً لِعَظَمَتِكَ، وتَفَكُّراً فِي قُدْرَتِكَ، وتَدْبِيراً عَلَى عَدُوِّكَ، ومَا أَجْرَى عَلَى لِسَانِي مِنْ لَفْظَةِ فُحْشٍ أَو هُجْرٍ، أَو شَتْمِ عِرْضٍ، أَو شَهَادَةِ بَاطِلٍ، أَو اغْتِيَابِ مُؤْمِنٍ غَائِبٍ، أَو سَبِّ حَاضِرٍ، ومَا أَشْبَهَ ذَلِكَ، نُطْقاً بِالْحَمْدِ لَكَ، وإِغْرَاقاً فِي الثَّنَاءِ عَلَيْكَ، وذَهَاباً فِي تَمْجِيدِكَ، وشُكْراً لِنِعْمَتِكَ، واعْتِرَافاً بِإِحْسَانِكَ، وإِحْصَاءً لِمِنَنِكَ.
O Allah, bless Muhammad and his Household, let me not be wronged while You can repel from me, let me not do wrong while You are powerful over holding me back, let me not be misguided while You are able to guide me, let me not be poor while with You is my plenty, let me not be insolent while from You comes my wealth!
Allaahumma salli 'alaa Muhammadin wa Aalih, wa lā uẓlamanna wa anta muṭeequn li-ad-daf'i 'annee, wa lā aẓlimanna wa anta al-qādiru 'alā al-qabḍi minnee, wa lā aḍillanna wa qad amkanatka hidāyatee, wa lā aftiqanna wa min 'indaka wus'ee, wa lā aṭghayanna wa min 'indaka wujdee
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وآلِهِ، ولَا أُظْلَمَنَّ وأَنْتَ مُطِيقٌ لِلدَّفْعِ عَنِّي، ولَا أَظْلِمَنَّ وأَنْتَ الْقَادِرُ عَلَى الْقَبْضِ مِنِّي، ولَا أَضِلَّنَّ وقَدْ أَمْكَنَتْكَ هِدَايَتِي، ولَا أَفْتَقِرَنَّ ومِنْ عِنْدِكَ وُسْعِي، ولَا أَطْغَيَنَّ ومِنْ عِنْدِكَ وُجْدِي.
O Allah, I come to Your forgiveness, I go straight to Your pardon, I yearn for Your forbearance, and I trust in Your bounty, but there is nothing with me to make me warrant Your forgiveness, nothing in my works to make me merit Your pardon, and nothing on my behalf after I judge my soul but Your bounty, so bless Muhammad and his Household and bestow Your bounty upon me!
Allaahumma ilā maghfiratika wafadt, wa ilā 'afwika qaṣadt, wa ilā tajāwuzika ishtaqt, wa bi-faḍlika wathiqtu, wa laysa 'indee mā yoojibu lee maghfiratak, wa lā fee 'amalee mā astaḥiqqa bihi 'afwak, wa mā lee ba'da an ḥakamtu 'alā nafsee illā faḍluk, faṣalli 'alā Muhammadin wa Aalih, wa tafaḍḍal 'alayy
اللَّهُمَّ إِلَى مَغْفِرَتِكَ وَفَدْتُ، وإِلَى عَفْوِكَ قَصَدْتُ، وإِلَى تَجَاوُزِكَ اشْتَقْتُ، وبِفَضْلِكَ وَثِقْتُ، ولَيْسَ عِنْدِي مَا يُوجِبُ لِي مَغْفِرَتَكَ، ولَا فِي عَمَلِي مَا أَسْتَحِقُّ بِهِ عَفْوَكَ، ومَا لِي بَعْدَ أَنْ حَكَمْتُ عَلَى نَفْسِي إِلَّا فَضْلُكَ، فَصَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وآلِهِ، وتَفَضَّلْ عَلَيَّ.
O Allah, make my speech be guidance, inspire me with reverential fear, give me success in that which is most pure, and employ me in what is most pleasing to You!
Allaahumma wa anṭiqnee bi-al-hudā, wa alhimnee at-taqwā, wa waffiqnee li-llatee hiya azkā, wasta'milnee bimā huwa arḍā
اللَّهُمَّ وأَنْطِقْنِي بِالْهُدَى، وأَلْهِمْنِي التَّقْوَى، ووَفِّقْنِي لِلَّتِي هِيَ أَزْكَى، واسْتَعْمِلْنِي بِمَا هُو أَرْضَى.
O Allah, let me thread the most exemplary path and make me live and die in Your creed!
Allaahumma isluk bee aṭ-ṭareeqata al-muthlā, waj'alnee 'alā millatika amootu wa aḥyā
اللَّهُمَّ اسْلُكْ بِيَ الطَّرِيقَةَ الْمُثْلَى، واجْعَلْنِي عَلَى مِلَّتِكَ أَمُوتُ وأَحْيَا.
O Allah, bless Muhammad and his Household, and give me to enjoy moderation, make me into one of the people of right behavior, the proofs of right conduct, and the servants of righteousness, and provide me with triumph at the place of Return and safety from the Ambush!
Allaahumma salli 'alā Muḥammadin wa Ālih, wa matti'nī bi al-iqtiṣād, waj'alnī min ahl as-sadād, wa min adillat ar-rashād, wa min ṣāliḥ al-'ibād, warzuqnī fawz al-ma'ād, wa salāmat al-mirṣād
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وآلِهِ، ومَتِّعْنِي بِالِاقْتِصَادِ، واجْعَلْنِي مِنْ أَهْلِ السَّدَادِ، ومِنْ أَدِلَّةِ الرَّشَادِ، ومِنْ صَالِحِ الْعِبَادِ، وارْزُقْنِي فَوْزَ الْمَعَادِ، وسلَامَةَ الْمِرْصَادِ.
O Allah, take to Yourself from my soul what will purify it and leave for my soul that of my soul that will set it right, for my soul will perish unless You preserve it!
Allaahumma khudh li-nafsika min nafsī mā yukhallisuḥā, wa abqi li-nafsī min nafsī mā yuṣliḥuḥā, fa-inna nafsī hālikatun aw ta'ṣimuhā
اللَّهُمَّ خُذْ لِنَفْسِكَ مِنْ نَفْسِي مَا يُخَلِّصُهَا، وأَبْقِ لِنَفْسِي مِنْ نَفْسِي مَا يُصْلِحُهَا، فَإِنَّ نَفْسِي هَالِكَةٌ أَو تَعْصِمَهَا.
O Allah, You are my stores when I sorrow, You art my recourse when I am deprived, from You I seek aid when troubled and with You is a substitute for everything gone by, a correction for everything corrupted, and a change from everything You disapproves. So show kindness to me with well-being before affliction, wealth before asking, right conduct before misguidance; suffice me against the burden of shame toward the servants, give me security on the Day of Return, and grant me excellent right guidance!
Allaahumma anta 'iddatī in ḥazint, wa anta muntaja'ī in ḥurimt, wa bika istighāthatī in karitht, wa 'indaka mimmā fāta khalaf, wa limā fasada ṣalāḥ, wa fīmā ankart taghyīr, famnun 'alayya qabl al-balā' bi al-'āfiyah, wa qabl aṭ-ṭalabi bi al-jiddah, wa qabl aḍ-ḍalāli bi ar-rashād, wakfinī ma'ūnat ma'arrat al-'ibād, wa hab lī amna yawm al-ma'ād, wamnaḥnī ḥusn al-irshād
اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ عُدَّتِي إِنْ حَزِنْتُ، وأَنْتَ مُنْتَجَعِي إِنْ حُرِمْتُ، وبِكَ اسْتِغَاثَتِي إِنْ كَرِثْتُ، وعِنْدَكَ مِمَّا فَاتَ خَلَفٌ، ولِمَا فَسَدَ صَلَاحٌ، وفِيمَا أَنْكَرْتَ تَغْيِيرٌ، فَامْنُنْ عَلَيَّ قَبْلَ الْبَلَاءِ بِالْعَافِيَةِ، وقَبْلَ الْطَّلَبِ بِالْجِدَةِ، وقَبْلَ الضَّلَالِ بِالرَّشَادِ، واكْفِنِي مَئُونَةَ مَعَرَّةِ الْعِبَادِ، وهَبْ لِي أَمْنَ يَوْمِ الْمَعَادِ، وامْنَحْنِي حُسْنَ الْإِرْشَادِ.
O Allah, bless Muhammad and his Household, repel from me through Your gentleness, feed me through Your favour, set me right through Your generosity, heal me through Your benefaction, shade me in Your shelter, wrap me in Your good pleasure, and give me success to reach the most guided of affairs when affairs confuse me, the purest of works when works seem similar, and the most pleasing to You of creeds when creeds conflict!
Allaahumma salli 'alā Muḥammadin wa Ālih, wadra' 'annī bi luṭfik, waghdhunī bi ni'matik, wa aṣliḥnī bi karamil, wa dāwinī bi ṣun'ik, wa aẓillanī fī dhirāk, wa jallilnī riḍāk, wa waffiqnī idhā ishtakalat 'alayya al-umūr li ahdāhā, wa idhā tashābahat al-a'māl li azkāhā, wa idhā tanāqaḍat al-milal li arḍāhā
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وآلِهِ، وادْرَأْ عَنِّي بِلُطْفِكَ، واغْذُنِي بِنِعْمَتِكَ، وأَصْلِحْنِي بِكَرَمِكَ، ودَاوِنِي بِصُنْعِكَ، وأَظِلَّنِي فِي ذَرَاكَ، وجَلِّلْنِي رِضَاكَ، ووَفِّقْنِي إِذَا اشْتَكَلَتْ عَلَيَّ الْأُمُورُ لِأَهْدَاهَا، وإِذَا تَشَابَهَتِ الْأَعْمَالُ لِأَزْكَاهَا، وإِذَا تَنَاقَضَتِ الْمِلَلُ لِأَرْضَاهَا.
O Allah, bless Muhammad and his Household, crown me with sufficiency, place in me excellent guardianship, give me to guide correctly, tempt me not with plenty, grant me excellent ease, make not my life toil and trouble, and refuse not my supplication in rejection, for I make none rival to You and I supplicate none with You as equal!
Allaahumma salli 'alā Muḥammadin wa Ālih, wa tawwijnī bi al-kifāyah, wa summnī ḥusn al-wilāyah, wa hab lī ṣidq al-hidāyah, wa lā taftinnī bi as-sa'ah, wamnaḥnī ḥusn ad-da'ah, wa lā taj'al 'ayshī kaddan kaddā, wa lā tarudd du'ā'ī 'alayya raddā, fa-innī lā aj'alu laka ḍiddā, wa lā ad'ū ma'aka niddā
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وآلِهِ، وتَوِّجْنِي بِالْكِفَايَةِ، وسُمْنِي حُسْنَ الْوِلَايَةِ، وهَبْ لِي صِدْقَ الْهِدَايَةِ، ولَا تَفْتِنِّي بِالسَّعَةِ، وامْنَحْنِي حُسْنَ الدَّعَةِ، ولَا تَجْعَلْ عَيْشِي كَدّاً كَدّاً، ولَا تَرُدَّ دُعَائِي عَلَيَّ رَدّاً، فَإِنِّي لَا أَجْعَلُ لَكَ ضِدّاً، ولَا أَدْعُو مَعَكَ نِدّاً.
O Allah, bless Muhammad and his Household, hold me back from prodigality, fortify my provision against ruin, increase my possessions through blessing them, and set me upon the path of guidance through piety in what I spend!
Allaahumma salli 'alā Muḥammadin wa Ālih, wamna'nī min as-sarf, wa ḥaṣṣin rizqī min at-talaf, wa waffir malakatī bi al-barakah fīh, wa aṣib bī sabīl al-hidāyah li al-bir fīmā unfiqu minh
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وآلِهِ، وامْنَعْنِي مِنَ السَّرَفِ، وحَصِّنْ رِزْقِي مِنَ التَّلَفِ، ووَفِّرْ مَلَكَتِي بِالْبَرَكَةِ فِيهِ، وأَصِبْ بِي سَبِيلَ الْهِدَايَةِ لِلْبِرِّ فِيمَا أُنْفِقُ مِنْهُ.
O Allah, bless Muhammad and his Household, spare me the burden of earning, and provide for me without reckoning, lest I be distracted from Your worship through seeking and carry the load of earning's ill results!
Allaahumma salli 'alā Muḥammadin wa Ālih, wakfinī ma'ūnat al-iktisāb, warzuqnī min ghayri iḥtisāb, falā ashtaghila 'an 'ibādatika bi aṭ-ṭalab, wa lā aḥtamila iṣr tabi'āt al-maksab
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وآلِهِ، واكْفِنِي مَئُونَةَ الِاكْتِسَابِ، وارْزُقْنِي مِنْ غَيْرِ احْتِسَابٍ، فَلَا أَشْتَغِلَ عَنْ عِبَادَتِكَ بِالطَّلَبِ، ولَا أَحْتَمِلَ إِصْرَ تَبِعَاتِ الْمَكْسَبِ.
O Allah, bestow upon me what I seek through Your power and grant me sanctuary from what I fear through Your might!
Allaahumma fa aṭlibnī bi qudratika mā aṭlub, wa ajirnī bi 'izzatika mimmā arhab
اللَّهُمَّ فَأَطْلِبْنِي بِقُدْرَتِكَ مَا أَطْلُبُ، وأَجِرْنِي بِعِزَّتِكَ مِمَّا أَرْهَبُ.
O Allah, bless Muhammad and his Household, save my face through ease, and demean not my dignity through neediness, lest I seek provision from those whom You have provided and ask for bestowal from the worst of Your creatures! Then I would be tried by praising him who gave to me and afflicted with blaming him who held back from me, while You -not they- art patron of giving and holding back.
Allaahumma salli 'alā Muḥammadin wa Ālih, wa ṣun wajhī bi al-yasār, wa lā tabtadhil jāhī bi al-iqtār, fa astarziga ahl rizqik, wa asta'tiya shirāra khalqik, fa uftana bi ḥamdi man a'tānī, wa ubtalā bi dhammi man mana'nī, wa anta min dūnihim waliyy al-i'ṭā' wa al-man'
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وآلِهِ، وصُنْ وَجْهِي بِالْيَسَارِ، ولَا تَبْتَذِلْ جَاهِي بِالْإِقْتَارِ، فَأَسْتَرْزِقَ أَهْلَ رِزْقِكَ، وأَسْتَعْطِيَ شِرَارَ خَلْقِكَ، فَأَفْتَتِنَ بِحَمْدِ مَنْ أَعْطَانِي، وأُبْتَلَى بِذَمِّ مَنْ مَنَعَنِي، وأَنْتَ مِنْ دُونِهِمْ وَلِيُّ الْإِعْطَاءِ والْمَنْعِ.
O Allah, bless Muhammad and his Household, and provide me with soundness in worship, detachment in renunciation, knowledge put into action, and abstinence in measure!
Allaahumma salli 'alā Muḥammadin wa Ālih, warzuqnī ṣiḥḥatan fī 'ibādah, wa farāghan fī zahādah, wa 'ilman fī isti'māl, wa wara'an fī ijmal
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وآلِهِ، وارْزُقْنِي صِحَّةً فِي عِبَادَةٍ، وفَرَاغاً فِي زَهَادَةٍ، وعِلْماً فِي اسْتِعْمَالٍ، ووَرَعاً فِي إِجْمَالٍ.
O Allah, seal my term with Your pardon, verify my expectation in hoping for Your mercy, smooth my paths to reach Your good pleasure, and make my works good in all my states!
Allaahumma ikhtim bi 'afwika ajalī, wa ḥaqqiq fī rajā'i raḥmatika amalī, wa sahhil ilā bulūghi riḍāka subulī, wa ḥassin fī jamī' aḥwālī 'amalī
اللَّهُمَّ اخْتِمْ بِعَفْوِكَ أَجَلِي، وحَقِّقْ فِي رَجَاءِ رَحْمَتِكَ أَمَلِي، وسَهِّلْ إِلَى بُلُوغِ رِضَاكَ سُبُلِي، وحَسِّنْ فِي جَمِيعِ أَحْوَالِي عَمَلِي.
O Allah, bless Muhammad and his Household, incite me to remember You in times of heedlessness, employ me in Your obedience in days of disregard, open a smooth road for me to Your love, and complete for me thereby the good of this world and the next!
Allaahumma salli 'alā Muḥammadin wa Ālih, wa nabbihnī li dhikrika fī awqāt al-ghaflah, wasta'milnī bi ṭā'atika fī ayyām al-muhlah, wanhaj lī ilā maḥabbatika sabilan sahlah, akmil lī bihā khayr ad-dunyā wa al-ākhirah
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وآلِهِ، ونَبِّهْنِي لِذِكْرِكَ فِي أَوْقَاتِ الْغَفْلَةِ، واسْتَعْمِلْنِي بِطَاعَتِكَ فِي أَيَّامِ الْمُهْلَةِ، وانْهَجْ لِي إِلَى مَحَبَّتِكَ سَبِيلًا سَهْلَةً، أَكْمِلْ لِي بِهَا خَيْرَ الدُّنْيَا والْآخِرَةِ.
O Allah, and bless Muhammad and his Household, the best You have blessed any of Your creatures before him and will bless any of them after him, and give to us in this world good, and in the next world good, and protect me through Your mercy from the chastisement of the Fire!
Allaahumma wa salli 'alā Muḥammadin wa Ālih, ka afḍali mā ṣallayta 'alā aḥadin min khalqika qablah, wa anta muṣallin 'alā aḥadin ba'dah, wa ātinā fī ad-dunyā ḥasanah wa fī al-ākhirati ḥasanah, wa qinī bi raḥmatika 'adhāb an-nār
اللَّهُمَّ وصَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وآلِهِ، كَأَفْضَلِ مَا صَلَّيْتَ عَلَى أَحَدٍ مِنْ خَلْقِكَ قَبْلَهُ، وأَنْتَ مُصَلٍّ عَلَى أَحَدٍ بَعْدَهُ، وآتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً، وقِنِي بِرَحْمَتِكَ عَذَابَ النَّارِ.
