In the Name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
Bismillahir-Rahmanir-Rahim
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
O Allah, If You will, You will pardon us through Your bounty and if You will, You will chastise us through Your justice. So make our ways smooth to Your pardon through Your kindness, and grant us sanctuary from Your chastisement through Your forbearance, for none of us has the endurance for Your justice and none of us can reach deliverance without Your pardon!
Allahumma in tasha' ta'fu 'anna fabi fadlik wa in tasha' tu'adh-dhibna fa bi 'adlik fa sahhil lana 'afwaka bi mannik wa ajirna min 'adhabika bi tajawuzik fa innahu la taqata lana bi 'adlik wa la najata li ahadin minna doona 'afwik.
اللّهُمَّ إن تَشَأْ تَعفُ عَنّا فَبِفضْلِكَ، وَانْ تَشَأْ تُعَذِّبْنا فَبَعَدْلِكَ. فَسَهِّلْ لَنَا عَفْوَكَ بِمنِّكَ، وَأَجِرْنَا مِنْ عَذَابِكَ بِتَجاوُزكَ؛ فَإنَّهُ لَا طاقَةَ لَنَا بَعَدْلِكَ، وَلَا نَجاةَ لِأحَد دُوْنَ عَفْوِكَ
.
O Richest of the rich! Here we are, Your servants, before You. I am the neediest of the needy toward You, so redress our neediness through Your plenty and cut us not off from our hopes through Your withholding, So that You do not make wretched him who seeks happiness through You
and deprive him who seeks help from Your bounty! Then to whom would we return after You? Where would we go from Your gate?
Ya ghaniyyal-aghniya'i ha nahnu 'ibaduka bayna yadayk wa ana afqarul-fuqara'i ilayk faj-bur faqatana bi wus'ik wa la taqta' raja'ana bi man'ik fa takoona qad ashqayta mani istas'ada bik
wa haramta mani istarfada fadlak. Fa ila man heena'idhin munqalabuna 'ank? wa ila ayn madhhabuna 'an babik?
يَا غَنِيَّ الاغْنِيَاء، هَا نَحَنُ عِبادُكَ، وَأَنَا أَفْقَراء إِلَيْكَ فَأجْبُرْ فَاقَتَنا بِوُسْعِكَ، وَلَا تَقْطَعَ رَجَاءَ نَا بِمَنْعِكَ فَتَكُونَ قَدْ أَشْقَيْتَ مَنِ اسْتَسْعَدَ بِكَ، وَحَرَمْتَ مَنِ اسْتَرْفَدَ فَضْلَكَ. فَإِلَى مَنْ حِينَئِذٍ مُنْقَلَبُنَا عَنْكَ، وَإِلَى أَيْنَ مَذْهَبُنَا عَنْ بَابِكَ؟
Glory be to You! We are the distressed,
The response to whom You have made incumbent, The people from whom You have promised to remove the evil That thing most resembling Your will and that affair most worthy for You in Your mightiness is showing mercy to he who asks You for mercy and helping he who seeks help from You. So, show mercy upon our pleading with You, and free us from need when we seek You in desperation!
Subhanaka nahnu al- mudh-tarroona alladheena awjabta ijabatahum wa ahlus-soo'i alladheena wa'at-tal-kashfa 'anhum wa ashbahul-ashya'i bi mashee'atik wa awlal-umoori bika fee 'adhamatik rahmatu mani istarhamak wa ghawthu mani istaghatha bik. Farham tadharru'ana ilayk wa aghnina idh tarahna anfusana bayna yadayk.
سُبْحَانَكَ إِنَّحْنُ الْمُضْطَرُّون الذّينَ أَوْجَبْتَ إِجَابَتَهُمْ، وَأَهْلُ السُّوْء الذّيْنَ وَعَدْتَ الْكَشْفَ عَنْهُمْ. وَأَشْبَـهُ الأَشْيَاءِ بِمَشِيَّتِـكَ، وَأَوْلَى الامُورِ بِكَ فِيْ عَظَمَتِكَ رَحْمَةُ مَنِ اسْتَرْحَمَكَ، وَغَوْثُ مَنِ اسْتَغَاثَ بِكَ، فَارْحَمْ تَضَرُّعَنَا إِلَيْكَ، وَأَغْنِنَا إِذْ طَرَحْنَـا أَنْفُسَنَا بَيْنَ يَـدَيْكَ.
O God, Satan will gloat over us if we follow him in disobeying You, so bless Muhammad and his Household, and let him not gloat over us after we have renounced him for You and beseeched You against him!
Allahumma innash-shaytana qad shamita bina idh shaya'nahu 'ala ma'siyatik fa salli 'ala Muhammadin wa aalih wa la tushmit-hoo bina ba'd tarkina iyyahu lak wa raghbatina 'anhu ilayk.
أَللَّهُمَّ إِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ قَدْ شمِتَ بِنَا إِذْ شَايَعْنَاهُ عَلَى مَعْصِيَتِكَ، فَصَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّد وَآلِهِ وَلَا تُشْمِتْهُ بِنَا بَعْدَ تَرْكِنَا إيَّاهُ لَكَ، وَرَغْبَتِنَا عَنْهُ إِلَيْكَ.
