In the Name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
Bismillahir-Rahmanir-Rahim
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
O Reliever of worry! O Remover of grief!
Ya farij al-ham wa kashif al-gham,
يَا فَارِجَ الْهَمِّ وَكَاشِفَ الغَمِّ،
O Merciful in this world and the next and Compassionate in both! Bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad,
Ya Rahman ad-dunya wal-akhirati wa raheemahumasalli 'ala Muhammadin wa aali Muhammad,
يَا رَحْمنَ الدُّنْيَا وَالآخِرَةِ وَرَحِيمَهُمَا، صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّد وَآلِ مُحَمَّد
Relieve my worry and remove my grief! O One, O Unique, O Eternal Refuge! O He Who has not begotten, nor has been begotten, and equal to Him is not any one!
Wafruj hammee wakshif ghammee,Ya Wahidu ya Ahadu ya Samad,Ya man lam yalid wa lam yoolad,wa lam yakul-lahu kufuwan ahad!
وَافْرُجْ هَمِّيَ، وَاكْشِفْ غَمِّيَ، يَا وَاحِدُ يَا أَحَدُ، يَا صَمَدُ، يَامَنْ لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُولَدْ، وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ كُفُواً أَحَدٌ،
Preserve me, purify me, and take away my affliction!
I'simnee wa tahhirnee, w adh-hab bi baliyyatee!
اعْصِمْنِي وَطَهِّرْنِي، وَاْذهِبْ بِبَلِيَّتِي
O God, I ask You with the asking of him whose neediness is intense, whose strength is frail, whose sins are many, the asking of one who finds no helper in his neediness, No strengthener in his frailty, No forgiver of his sin other than You, O Possessor of majesty and munificence!
Allahumma innee as'aluka su'ala mani ish-taddat faqatahu,wa dha'ufat quw-watuhu wa kathurat dhunubuh,su'ala mal-la yajidu li faqatihi mugheetha,wa la li dha'fihi muqawwiya,wa la li dhanbihi ghafir an ghayrak,Ya Dhal-Jalali wal-Ikram!
أَللَّهُمَّ إنِّيْ أَسْأَلُكَ سُؤَالَ مَنِ اشْتَدَّتْ فَاقَتُهُ، وَضَعُفَتْ قُوَّتُهُ، وَكَثُرَتْ ذُنُوبُهُ، سُؤَالَ مَنْ لَا يَجِدُ لِفَاقَتِهِ مُغِيْثاً، وَلَا لِضَعْفِهِ مُقَوِّيا، وَلَا لِذَنْبِهِ غَافِراً غَيْرَكَ، يَا ذَا الْجَلَالِ وَالْإكْرَامِ
I ask You for a work through which You will love him who works itand a certainty by which You will profit him who is certain with the truth of certainty concerning the execution of Your command!
As'aluka 'amalan tuhibbu bihi man 'amila bihwa yaqeenan tanfa'u bihi mani is-tayqana bihihaqqal-yaqeeni fee nafadhi amrik!
أَسْأَلُكَ عَمَلًا تُحِبُّ بِهِ مَنْ عَمِلَ بِهِ، وَيَقِيناً تَنْفَعُ بِهِ مَنِ اسْتَيْقَنَ بِه حَقَّ الْيَقِينِ فِيْ نَفَاذِ أَمْرِكَ.
O God, bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad, Take my soul while it is firm in sincerity, Cut off my need for this world, Make my desire for what is with You Become a yearning to meet You, And give me true confidence in You!
Allahumma salli 'ala Muhammadin wa aali Muhammad,Waqbid 'ala as-sidqi nafsee,waqta' min ad-dunya hajati,w aj'al feema 'indaka raghbateeshawqan ila liqa'ik,wa hab lee sidq at-tawakkuli 'alayk!
أَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّد وَآلِ مُحَمَّد، وَاقْبِضَ عَلَى الصِّدْقِ نَفْسِي، وَاقْطَعْ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا حَاجَتِي، وَاجْعَلْ فِيمَا عِنْدَكَ رَغْبَتِي شَوْقاً إلَى لِقَائِكَ، وَهَبْ لِي صِدْقَ التَّوَكُّلِ عَلَيْكَ.
I ask of You the good of the written that has been made and I seek refuge with You from the evil of the writ that has been made. I ask of You the fear of the worshipers, the worship of those humbly fearful of You, the certainty of those who have confidence in You and the confidence of those who have faith in You.
As'aluka min khayri kitabin qad khala wa a'oodhu bikamin sharri kitabin qad khalaAs'aluk khawfal-'abideena lak,wa 'ibadat al-khashi'eena lak,wa yaqeen al-mutawakkileena 'alayk,wa tawakkul al-mu'mineena 'alayk.
أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ خَيْرِ كِتَاب قَدْ خَلاَ وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ كِتَاب قَدْ خَلَا لَكَ، أَسْأَلُكَ خَوْفَ الْعَابِدِينَ وَعِبَادَةَ الْخَاشِعِينَ لَكَ، وَيَقِيْنَ الْمُتَوَكِّلِينَ عَلَيْكَ، وَتَوَكُّلَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ عَلَيْكَ.
O God, make my desire in my asking like the desire of Your friends in their asking, and my fear like the fear of Your friends! Employ me in Your good pleasure through works in which I will not leave aside anything of Your religion fearing any of Your creatures!
Allahumma aj'al raghbatee fee mas'alateemithla raghbati awliya'ika fee masa'ilihim,wa rahbatee mithla rahbati awliya'ik!W as-ta'milnee fee mardhatika'amalan la atruku ma'ahu shay'an min deenikmakhafata ahadin min khalqik!
أَللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ رَغْبَتِي فِي مَسْأَلَتِي مِثْلَ رَغْبَةِ أَوْلِيَآئِكَ فِي مَسَائِلِهِمْ، وَرَهْبَتِيْ مِثْلَ رَهْبَةِ أَوْلِيَآئِكَ، وَاسْتَعْمِلْنِي فِي مَرْضَاتِكَ، عَمَلًا لَا أَتْرُكُ مَعَهُ شَيْئاً مِنْ دِيْنِكَ مَخَافَةَ أَحْد مِنْ خَلْقِكَ.
O God, this is my need, so make my desire for it great within it make manifest my excuse, through it instill me with my argument, and by means of it make well my body!
Allahumma hadhihee hajati,fa a'dhim feeha raghbatee,wa adhhir feeha 'udhree, wa laqqinee feeha hujjatiwa 'afi feeha jasadee!
أَللَّهُمَّ هَذِهِ حَاجَتِي، فَأَعْظِمْ فِيهَا رَغْبَتِي، وَأَظْهِرْ فِيهَا عُذْرِي، وَلَقِّنِي فِيهَا حُجَّتِي وَعَافِ فِيْهَا جَسَدِيْ.
O God, some rise in the morning having trust or hope in other than You. I rise in the morning, and You are my trust and my hope in all affairs, so decree for me those which are best in outcome and deliver me from misguiding trials, O Most Merciful of the merciful!
Allahumma man asbaha lahu thiqun aw raja'un ghayrukfaqad asbah-tu wa anta thiqateewa raja'ee fil-umoori kulliha,faqdhi lee bi khayriha 'aqibah,wa najjinee mim-mudhillat il-fitan,bi rahmatika ya Arham ar-Rahimeen!
أَللَّهُمَّ مَنْ أَصْبَحَ لَهُ ثِقَةٌ أَوْ رَجَآءٌ غَيْرُكَ فَقَدْ أَصْبَحْتُ وَأَنْتَ ثِقَتِي وَرَجَآئِي فِي الأُمُورِ كُلِّهَا، فَاقْضِ لِيْ بِخَيْرِهَا عَاقِبَةً، وَنَجِّنِيْ مِنْ مُضِلاَّتِ الْفِتَنِ، بِرَحْمَتِكَ يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ.
And God bless our chief, Muhammad the Messenger of Allah, the chosen, and his Household, the pure!
Wa sallallahu 'ala sayyidina Muhammadin ar-Rasoolillah al-Mustafa,wa 'ala aalihi at-tahireen.
وَصَلَّى اللهُ عَلَى سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّد رُسُولِ اللهِ المُصْطَفَى، وَعَلَى آلِهِ الطَّاهِرِينَ.
